Troy Ave broke his silence and visited The Breakfast Club for the first time since the unfortunate events that took place at Irving Plaza last year.

The Brooklyn rapper was involved and hospitalized before being arrested on gun charges.

In this 90 minute interview, Troy Ave speaks on his split with former managers/associates, Irving Plaza case, as well as the attempt made on his life this past Christmas Day.

One thing that stood out was the relationship between himself and the family of Ronald “Banga” McPhatter, who reportedly died trying to protect Ave.

Shanduke McPhatter, the brother of the victim has responded to the interview and revealed text messages exchanged with Troy Ave.
