Jimmy Fallon successor for the Late Night show has officially been announced. Fallon’s fellow SNL-er, who’s been the head writer of the sketch comedy show for the last few years will be taking over the wheel as Jimmy moves on to “The Tonight Show”, ousting Jay Leno.

The Tonight Show is relocating to the big apple, retiring Leno and pushing forward Jimmy Fallon as the host. This means the throne was for the taking and since the No New Friends rule is being enforced ala Drake these days, it was only right that Seth Meyers be chosen for the spot.
