It was all good just a drink ago. I remember attending @Pharrell’s launch party for Qream in Washington, D.C. back in 2011, it seemed to have so much promise but everything that glitters in a bottle like Qream did isn’t gold apparently.

According to this report, Skateboard P is suing Diageo for skating out on their end of the bargain when he agreed to partner with them for marketing his beverage. The lawsuit accuses Diageo North America of failing to effectively produce and distribute Qream to the targeted audience/market which was aimed at primarily women.

It also states that Diageo, without provocation terminated their contract with Pharrell and Qream after being in business together for two years.

The lawsuit states “PW turned away other concrete opportunities to collaborate with other alcoholic beverage distributors on a partnership, in favor of proceeding with Diageo”. Williams also notes that sales were lower than expected because it was marketed as a “club drink” and not that of a “high end, leisure class”.

Editor’s Note:
Basically, Pharrell wasn’t trying to sell you niggas on his drink because he knows you drink Ciroc.
