Ooooohh what do we have here? Looks like TLC will have their career detailed through a televised series. The two surviving members of the crew have officially signed on to be apart of this VH1 program. The synopsis of it covers the success of their albums as teenagers, the infamous incident of Left Eye burning down her boyfriends house and the tragedy of them later losing their teammate. No word on when production will begin or an premiere date yet.
What’s Love Got To Do With It scribe Kate Lanier will pen the project, which will explore the R&B/hip-hop pop trio comprised of Chilli, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and their rise to fame with 1991’s “Ooooooohhh… On The TLC Tip” and their follow-up success with 1994’s “CrazySexyCool,” which sold more than 22 albums worldwide and pushed them to become the most successful female group in history.
