@RickyRozay gave the official word to The Source, revealing that he has in fact recruited the DMV Ambassador to his Maybach Music Imprint. Speculation was running rampant though out the internet of the two’s unlikely alliance after some cryptic twitter updates Mr. Folarin posted to his account.
In addition to drafting Wale, Rawse also boasts of signing Philly native, Meek Mill:
Look for that first quarter. I’m talking to artist out of Philly that I think is the future of Philly. Meek Millz, I’m talking to him right now about Maybach Music. As well as I’m talking to Wale.”
“Wale is a hustler. I feel he’s one record away from being the next nigga,” The Husky Don forecasted. “He’s just a naturally fly nigga. Slick talking nigga. That’s right up my alley. I just think that comradery, riding with Rozay, it’ll mean that much more. I feel he’s one record away. As well as Meek Millz.
Editor’s Note: This personally comes as no surprise to me, as the pair performed on the same stage at a Heineken event this past summer. Pay attention. In any case, congrats to Wale and Meek Millz. Clap for em.
